Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA):

ABA is an evidence-based therapy that is designed to help your child learn and relate in ways that activate their full potential. ABA services include:

  • Leveraging the current best evidence-based practices in developing every intervention, i.e. We only do what has been proven to work.

  • Prioritizing essential executive functioning skill building and the capacity for self-regulation, i.e. We help your child to exercise mental and relational flexibility, self-control and other important functions.

  • Activating developmental potential by providing services in our clients' natural environments- home, school, and community, i.e. We go to where your child already is, and we tailor our services to that environment.

Integrated Therapies:

Art Therapy and Applied Neuroscience

We don’t stop with basic ABA services. We integrate and customize a thoughtful and effective plan for your child’s unique personality and needs.

Innovative, creative, and evidence-based, these therapies are integrated into our Autism and Mental Health Therapies.

  • Our Stronger Brain - Applied Neuroscience Brain Training provides children with an online evidenced-based skill training program.

  • Our consulting Art Therapy Program, only in the Twin Cities, applies neurodevelopmental integration tools to foster fun. Engaging kinesthetic experiences that will stimulate the formation of imagery and activate learning. Art builds new communication pathways, reducing stress and creating new potential connections.

Evaluations

What to expect?

The most important thing to us is our relationship with you and your child. That relationship is the foundation that allows us to find the best path to reach your child’s goals. Below is a summary of our starting point together. Please contact us today, so we can meet your child and begin a new, exciting journey together!

Step 1: Contact Us to Schedule an Evaluation

We want to hear your story. The more we know about your family, and specifically your child, the more helpful we can be. In this first conversation, we’ll ask some basic questions, and then schedule a time to meet your child and assess their needs.

Step 2: Prep for an In-Home Meeting

One of our licensed psychologists will visit your home to meet your child and you. We will spend time playing with your child to observe their patterns of learning and relating. We will also ask you some questions.

We are not there to judge you or how you parent. Our goal is to gain insight into how we can best support your child and you. We are advocates for the wellbeing of your whole family. To prepare for this evaluation, you can think about any questions or observations you’d like to share with us.

Step 3: We Get Back to You With Your Results and Next Steps

Once the evaluation is complete, we will write and share a summary of our observations. At this point, we will be able to communicate a plan for how we can move forward together.

Getting to know your child and you is an honor for us. We can’t wait to see the awesome potential that is in your child’s personality and abilities. Please contact us today, and we’ll look forward to meeting you.

We are currently providing services primarily in homes and schools, but we can provide center-based services at our community partner locations. We are also fully equipped to offer virtual services.

Do you provide School-Based Mental Health Therapy Services?

Yes, we are educators, teachers, and mental health providers. We get the mental health challenges that our children can have in school. We follow all Minnesota and Wisconsin State Educational Department Policies and Procedures.
