Children are welcomed into a consistent morning routine that helps them transition into the learning environment. Therapists greet each child and begin preparing them for the day’s structured learning activities.

Morning Session (9:00–12:00)

Children participate in structured learning activities delivered through play. During this time, therapists work one on one and in small groups to build communication, social-interaction, and foundational learning skills.

Lunch & Social Time (12:00–1:00)

Lunch provides opportunities for children to practice communication, social interaction, and independence in a supportive setting. Therapists guide routines and encourage positive peer interaction during this time.

Afternoon Play-Based Learning (1:00–4:00)

The afternoon continues with play-based learning activities that support communication, problem-solving, and independence. Throughout the session, children practice skills across structured activities, movement, and peer interaction.

At the end of the day, families receive updates about their child’s progress and activities. Therapists share important information and provide guidance to help reinforce skills at home.

BCBA Support Throughout the Day

Board-certified behavior analysts provide ongoing supervision and guidance throughout the day. They review progress, adjust treatment plans when needed, and ensure each child continues working toward individualized goals.

For many children, our program can serve as their primary daytime placement. At Ignite, we use ABA to build communication, social, play, and everyday skills in ways that feel natural and engaging. Therapy is structured, but it is also warm and child-centered. Every plan is individualized, rooted in evidence, and designed to help each child make meaningful progress in the real world.

Home-based ABA focuses on building skills within your child’s natural routines, such as getting dressed, eating meals, and interacting with siblings. It allows learning to take place in the environment where those daily activities happen. Center-based ABA provides a setting for structured learning, with increased opportunities for peer interaction, small-group instruction, and consistent skill building throughout the day. For families using commercial insurance, a formal autism diagnosis is required for ABA therapy coverage. If your child has not yet been diagnosed, we are happy to provide a referral for testing and guide you through the next steps. For children covered by Medicaid, an autism diagnosis is not required. In most cases, an order from your child’s pediatrician or primary care provider is sufficient to begin services.
