Autism (or Autism Spectrum Disorder) is a difference in how a person’s brain works that affects how they communicate, interact with others, and experience the world around them. It’s called a “spectrum” because it looks different in every person. Some children may need more support with talking or social situations, while others may need help with sensory sensitivities, routines, or emotional regulation. Autism isn’t something to be “fixed,” it’s a part of who someone is, and every autistic child has unique strengths, interests, and ways of seeing the world.
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy is a research-backed approach that helps children build skills like communication, social interaction, and everyday independence while also reducing behaviors that get in the way of learning or connecting with others. It works by breaking big goals into small, achievable steps and using play, encouragement, and positive reinforcement to help kids learn in a way that feels natural and fun, not forced.
Our center-based program provides a consistent daily routine built around structured learning and play. Each child works toward individualized goals with clear expectations and steady progress. Families receive regular updates, so they always understand how their child is developing.
Research shows that early, evidence-based support can make a lasting difference in a child’s development. Early intervention is our primary focus, and we offer services for children ages 2 and up, with support that can continue as they grow.
Our center-based program blends research-based therapy with play in a warm, engaging environment. Children attend a full-day program where every activity, from circle time to snack time, is thoughtfully designed to build communication, social, and learning skills.
Children can continue in our center-based program until they begin school, then receive in-school and/or hybrid services as needed and as insurance allows. Services vary by location.
Every child’s plan is individualized and overseen by a board-certified behavior analyst, with regular progress updates so you always know how your child is growing. And because we believe quality care should be accessible to every family, we accept most major insurance plans, including Medicaid.

You do not need an autism diagnosis to get started. A prescription for ABA therapy from your child’s pediatrician is all it takes to begin the process.

A formal autism diagnosis is required before ABA therapy can be authorized. If your child doesn’t have a diagnosis yet, we’re happy to help connect you with the right resources to start that process.

We serve children ages 2 and up, with early intervention as our primary focus. Our West Allis location also offers Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) programming for children as young as age 1. Center-based, in-school, and hybrid services vary by location and depend on your child’s needs and insurance coverage.
Yes, we accept Medicaid, including BadgerCare and ForwardHealth, along with most major commercial insurance plans in Wisconsin. Our team will help verify your child’s benefits, explain coverage requirements and any out-of-pocket costs, and guide you through the authorization process.

Our center-based early intervention program offers a full day of therapy, with learning woven into play, social interaction, meals, and everyday routines. For some children, it can serve as their primary daytime program instead of a separate daycare placement.
Your child’s recommended schedule depends on their needs, treatment plan, and insurance authorization. If your child already attends daycare or preschool, we’ll talk through how therapy can fit with their current routine and any school services. Together, we’ll help you understand which options are available and what makes sense for your family.
Ignite provides individualized ABA therapy in a warm, play-based environment. Your child works one-on-one with a trained therapist on goals such as communicating their needs, playing with others, navigating transitions, and building everyday independence.
A board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) develops and oversees your child’s treatment plan, monitors progress, and adjusts support as their needs change. Play and daily routines create opportunities to practice those skills throughout the day.
You’re part of the team, too. We share progress updates and provide parent and caregiver training so you can use helpful strategies at home.
We have five Wisconsin locations: Appleton in the Fox Valley, Eau Claire, Madison, Milwaukee (Walker’s Point), and Milwaukee (West Allis).
Services vary by location and include center-based ABA, in-school support, hybrid services, and parent and caregiver training. Spanish-speaking staff are available at Walker’s Point and Madison, and West Allis offers Spanish programming.
